Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of R.I.Z.Z. Runway (the “Platform”), the legal practice-management software operated by R.I.Z.Z. LAW, LLC (“R.I.Z.Z. LAW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Platform on behalf of the firm or another entity, you represent that you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

The Platform

R.I.Z.Z. Runway is a private, internal application used by authorized personnel of R.I.Z.Z. LAW to manage client intake, case work, communications, documents, and firm accounting. The Platform may offer optional integrations with third-party services, including Intuit QuickBooks Online, that you may choose to connect.

Eligibility and Accounts

Access is limited to authorized users the firm provisions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach.

License and Acceptable Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for the firm's internal business purposes. You agree not to access the Platform without authorization, share your access with unauthorized persons, copy or reverse-engineer the Platform, use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of professional or ethical obligations, or interfere with its integrity, security, or performance.

Third-Party Services and QuickBooks

The Platform may connect to third-party services that are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. When an administrator connects a QuickBooks Online company, you authorize the Platform to access the accounting data described in our Privacy Policy for the sole purpose of recording firm-approved deposit and disbursement transactions. We act on your instructions; nothing posts to QuickBooks without staff approval, and you may disconnect at any time. Your use of QuickBooks Online is also subject to Intuit's terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its software, design, and content (excluding client data and third-party materials), is owned by R.I.Z.Z. LAW and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited license stated above.

Confidentiality

The Platform contains confidential client and firm information. Users must handle all such information in accordance with the firm's confidentiality and professional-responsibility obligations and must not disclose it except as authorized.

Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Platform is a tool that supports the firm's work; it does not itself provide legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, R.I.Z.Z. LAW will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to us for access to the Platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless R.I.Z.Z. LAW from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
